1. What we collect

We collect email, CV (from storage bucket `cvs`), profile data (from `avatars`), company logos (`company-logos`), job applications, and WhatsApp alerts you opt into via 079 060 8952.

2. POPIA Compliant

We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Your data is stored securely via Supabase / Cloudflare (SA region where possible). You can request access, correction or deletion: hello@jobway.co.za. We retain active accounts for duration of account + 12 months.

3. How we use your data

Match you to jobs, 1-Click Apply, send alerts via 079 060 8952

Employers see only CVs you applied with — we do not sell your data

Secure file hosting via Supabase Storage with RLS policies

4. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking Technologies (NEW)

We use cookies and similar tracking to operate JobWay and improve your job search. We use Google Consent Mode v2 — non-essential pixels only run after you click "Accept".

Meta Pixel: Tracks PageView, ViewContent (job viewed), Lead (started apply), CompleteRegistration (applied). Collects IP, browser, actions. Data transferred to Meta Platforms Inc., USA under POPIA s72.

Google Analytics 4: Collects anonymized IP, device, pages visited, referral source. Used for aggregate insights only.

Google Ads Conversion: Tracks if you apply after clicking our ad to optimize ad spend. No sensitive data shared.

6. Who We Share With

We do NOT sell data. We share only with: Recruiters (CVs you applied with), Supabase (hosting), Cloudflare (CDN), Google LLC (analytics/ads), Meta Platforms Inc. (ads) — all under data processing agreements.

7. Cross-Border Transfers

Primary storage in South Africa. Analytics/ads data may be transferred to USA for processing under POPIA Section 72 (consent + contractual necessity). You consent to this by accepting cookies.
